A one day emergency first aid course tailored to meet the needs of the school environment and is ideal for teachers and support staff.

Course Content

§         Assess, prioritise and report a first aid incident

§         Deal with an unconscious casualty

§         Deal with an adult, child or baby who is choking

§         Carry out resuscitation (CPR) on adults, children and babies

§         Control bleeding and manage a casualty who is suffering from shock.

§         Use, maintain, order and replace first aid equipment

§         Personal hygiene in a first aid scenario

§         recognise and treat a range of common injuries until the arrival of medical care
